Welbilt (Halesowen) Ltd - Multiplex UK is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of cooling and dispense equipment to the beverage industry. Our unrivalled knowledge has been gained by serving customers internationally for over 40 years, in over 50 countries. Our efforts are coordinated from our headquarters in Halesowen, West Midlands, with a network of distributors throughout Europe to support us.
We are committed to research and development within our manufacturing facility so we are continuously able to offer our customers sustainable, reliable technology in our product lines. As a result of this, we offer the market a wide range of products and services, always aiming to exceed our customers' changing expectations. At Multiplex UK, we work in partnership with our customers to ensure we fully understand their needs, so they can deliver even more flexible solutions to theirs.
Our key focus is on soft drink and beer cooling, as well as beverage dispense. We have a comprehensive range of coolers and dispense units to suit any application within the pub and chain restaurant environment. We also supply an extensive range of spares and accessories to all major soft drinks and brewing companies.
New product development
We passionately seek to develop innovative beverage dispense products that add real value to our customers' profile. Our latest initiative has been to pioneer a new generation of beverage coolers using natural refrigerants, including hydrocarbon and CO2 gas. We have invested heavily in our ICECORE and Vision range of beverage coolers to design a new, modular cooler configuration. The range has now been upgraded to use the eco-friendly gases R290 (hydrocarbon) and R744 (CO2). Our 'green' coolers now offer the customer up to 30%* in energy reduction!Operational excellence
Welbilt (Halesowen) Ltd has invested in the latest lean manufacturing techniques and has completely transformed its production lines. Production lines are now overseen by an automated information system giving up-to-the minute status reports, meaning stock levels and product quality can be kept in check. The factory also incorporates a dedicated manufacturing cell for hydrocarbon gases. We have invested heavily in all areas of the business to ensure excellence - the fundamental prerequisite for success.
